•    Electrics
•    Plumbing
•    Sea inlets

MCA Code Compliance survey

If you wish to operate your vessel commercially, we are authorized by the RYA, MECAL and SCMS Certifying Authorities to undertake examinations in connection with the MCA Small commercial Vessel Codes of Practice for vessels under 24m.

Fishing Vessel Registrations
Registered as a delegated marine surveyor with the MCA and fishing vessel certifying authorities to carry out fishing vessel registration inspections on under 15m vessels using the MCA / SEAFISH construction standards and guidelines.

Damage Inspections
If your boat is damaged as a result of an accident you may require an inspection before and after repairs are carried out. We carry out damage inspections on behalf of underwriters.

A valuation is often requested at the time of survey for insurance purposes or when finance is being obtained to purchase a vessel. Valuations may also be required for probate.

Sea Trials
A sea trial may be requested particularly on power boats and is additional to a condition survey. Oil analysis tests can be carried out on machinery and transmission.

Tonnage Measurement
We carry out Tonnage Measurements on vessels under 24m LOA on behalf of the, RYA, YDSA, SCMS and MECAL for Part 1 registration.
